Description
VINIFICATION

TASTING NOTES
Historically, this varietal tends to be rather ‘shouty’ and wants to elbow its way into the centre of every room. Our 2020 Petit Verdot, whilst still eager to pose in front of every mirror, is somewhat more tempered. Still possessing the classic PV florals of violets, lilac and a sniff of sage, this wine focuses rather on a strong backbone of acidity and spice from which to hang its luscious black cherry and blackberry. Hints of hazelnut and mocha weave in and out of these dark fruits and neatly tie off this intriguing wine.
